The morning is a powerful time to set your mood and using affirmations daily will give you the motivation to find happiness and bring positivity into your life.

Seriously! I have been using affirmations each morning for the last several years and my life has changed for the better. I am happier, healthier and doing what I love each and every day.

How Morning Affirmations will Improve your Life 

What you do in the morning sets the tone for the entire day. You want to be intentional about how you start the day. Don’t let the day just happen to you, instead create the day you WANT.

Have you ever woken up feeling like you just didn’t even want to get out of bed?  I totally get it. I’ve felt overwhelmed, frustrated and worried. 

Morning affirmations are designed to boost your mindset and give you a positive outlook for the day ahead. You can come closer to your goals whatever they may be. Career, relationships (personal or business), money, the sky is the limit. 

By shifting your mind from overwhelmed and negative to calm and peaceful you will notice a shift in your day and eventually in the larger outcomes of your life.

This practice allows you to take control of your thoughts instead of going about your day on auto-pilot. Your thoughts turn into beliefs which in turn create your everyday life. 

So why don’t we use this to our advantage, take control of our thoughts and shape our reality into what we actually want.

What are Morning Affirmations?

By saying a series of positive statements to yourself or out loud, you are declaring what you want in your life.

When you wake up each day, you are filling your mind with something. Oftentimes, it is a social media news feed or the news on tv. Sometimes it is inner talk - conversations you are having in your mind- about the day ahead. Most likely you are filling your mind with worry or dread. 

Well all of this is not helping you at all. It is not going to improve your life in any way. In fact it is hurting you because you are filling your mind with negativity. This in turn puts you into a negative state and creates negative things in your life!

Instead I challenge you to try the morning affirmations I have hand selected for you.

How to Use Morning Affirmations

When you wake up and are having your morning coffee or tea, go ahead and use this time to your advantage. You will be in charge now instead of filling your mind with random stuff from your news feed.

Say these statements to yourself or out loud. You can even record yourself saying them and listen to the recording while you drive to work or after you drop the kids off at school. 

You can also write down your own affirmations in a journal. 

Try posting a few around the house where you will see them often.

Each day is a fresh start. It doesn’t matter what happened yesterday. As Louise Hay said, “The point of power is in the present moment.” You can change your life starting now.
